Tiruvannamalai, India

I just got back from two months in India. Most of that time was spent in Tiruvannamalai, a very spiritually potent place in Tamil Nadu, South India. Tiruvannamalai is a place of sacred pilgrimage and many thousands of people go there to visit the Holy Mountain Arunachala, the ancient Shiva Temple, and Ramana Maharshi’s Ashram. Ramana Maharshi was a great Indian Sage who lived in Tiruvannamalai during the first half of the 20th century. This was my first visit to India and I absolutely loved it – I’m already planning my next trip!
