Rosa Guilfoyle, MA, ITEC, MARH
I’ve been a natural health practitioner for over twenty years, treating clients in California and London, and working in some exceptional clinics with highly skilled and inspiring colleagues. In Autumn 2017 I moved to Margate and now I treat clients in Thanet and the surrounding areas.
In my massage practice, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, to address pain and tension. I’ve worked extensively with endurance athletes and musicians (as a musician, I understand the issues that can arise from the repetitive strain caused by playing an instrument), as well as with private clients in a clinical setting.
I run classes and workshops in Chanting for Meditation and Healing, and Kirtan evenings, where we chant Sanskrit mantras. Chanting has been part of my spiritual practice for many years, and I love sharing it with others, as they often express how it helps them to leave their worries behind and experience simple joy and peace. I studied Indian singing with Anita Slawek (a student of Ravi Shankar) and Shabda Kahn (a student of Pandit Pran Nath). I have a BA in Music (Composition) from Sonoma State University and an MA in Music and Sonic Media from the University of Sussex.
I also run homeopathy workshops, teaching people how to use homeopathy at home for themselves and their families.
